How to Identify Dual Voltage on an Electric or Electronic Device

 

If device IS dual voltage it will read:


"Input 100-240V" or "AC IN 100-240V" or similar display, as in the example below.
If traveling to a foreign country, you will simply need the appropriate adapter.

If device is NOT dual voltage:


AC IN will read 100/120V, or some other similar display.

If traveling to a foreign country where the voltage is 220, you will need:
A voltage converter for electric devices, making sure the wattage falls within the capacity of the converter or An electrical transformer for electronic or electric devices, making sure the wattage falls within the capacity of the transformer


PLUS the appropriate electrical adapter
